ART DUBAI CONTEMPORARY

Founded in 1996, Galerie Atiss Dakar opened its doors with its first exhibition featuring Soly Cissé, now an internationally renowned artist, on the sidelines of the DAKART Biennale.
The gallery developed a collaboration with Galerie Chab from Mali through participation in the ARCO fair in Madrid as well as an adventurous project to tour West Africa and organize exhibitions in various countries in the hope of expanding the activities of a private gallery.
Atiss Dakar also engaged in a joint venture with Galerie MAM from Cameroon in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2015, and more recently at ART PARIS ART FAIR 2017 and ART X LAGOS.
The gallery has become a well-known OFF space during the Dakar Biennale in Senegal.
